AdBrite, Inc. is an online advertising network based in San Francisco, California. It was founded by Philip J. Kaplan and Gidon Wise.
AdBrite serves ads on 112,009 sites, according to their published stats and is the 10th largest ad network on the Internet, according to Media Metrix . survey ranked AdBrite as the 6th largest ad server in 2008 with a 2% share of the market.
AdBrite was originally founded as Marketbanker.com in 2002, and relaunched as AdBrite in 2004. AdBrite is backed by Sequoia Capital. Mitsui and DAG Ventures.
On February 12, 2008 the company launched Spottt.com, a link exchange that enables sites to promote each other for free.
